Hi, I’m Emily.

I’m a mom of two and a rescue dog named Charlie. And like so many moms, I wear a lot of hats—driver, cook, boo-boo fixer, laundry boss, and when I’m lucky... home decorator.

A few years ago, we were living in a small townhouse, trying to make the most of what we had. The kids were little, the dog was wild, and the furniture? Well, let’s just say our sofa had survived more juice spills, crayon disasters, and muddy paw prints than it ever signed up for. Buying a new one wasn’t in the budget—and honestly, it still worked just fine—it just looked... tired.

That Moment Changed Everything

So one night after the kids went to bed, I pulled out my old sewing machine and started Googling. I had no idea what I was doing. But I knew I wanted our home to feel fresh again—without spending thousands or throwing out something that still had life left in it.

That first cover wasn’t perfect, but it was mine. And when I looked at the sofa the next morning, something shifted. The room looked better. I felt better. It was a small win—but it meant more than I expected.

Why I Built Coverfect?

I didn’t set out to build a company. I just wanted to feel good in the space I spent every day taking care of my family. But when friends started asking for help with their sofas too, I realized I wasn’t the only one who needed that little lift. Coverfect was born from that moment—out of a real need to create beauty, calm, and a sense of control in the chaos of motherhood.

What We Believe In

At Coverfect, we believe:
